Does anyone know if you can edit the slices manually to add extra tool paths? The problem that im having is that im not using a heated be so my extruder extrudes about half an inch of plastic before it sticks to the bed. On the most recent part that I am trying to print skeinforge is trying to make the raft by stopping and starting the extrusion several times. This is not a problem on other layers but on the raft it is a problem. So I was wondering if you could add an extra half inch on at each start point to compensate?

of course you can, open the Gcode file in a text editor, make the changes then upload to which ever interface program you use

So there is no way to do it within skeinforge? Like you could do in most cnc gcode generators you can add slots or holes manually and it generates the gcode for you.

Try printing on blue painters tape, I've heard PLA sticks really well to it.

You can also try increasing the extruder temp for the raft layers with the temp tab to make them stick better.
