No retraction during print

The problem occurs using Repetier with Repetier host and Slic3r.
Using manual control, rectraction works. As soon as I start a print, however, it does not retract. It just makes a noise and plastic continues to ooze on my prints.

I had it working in this configuration a few months ago and I don't remember changing much as far as settings go.
Any ideas?

(The printer works fine on Pronterface/Sprinter.)

You may have your reversal speed to high. It usually causes the motor to just stall.
