Maker Faire Vancouver 2012

If you are in or near Vancouver B.C. Canada this weekend be sure to come out to the Vancouver Maker Faire and visit the 3D printer Village being put on by The Fraser Valley RepRap Users group and Vancouver Makerbot club. We will have 15+ printers running. Including: RepStraps, Prusas, BfB touch, Mendels, Tantillus', Thing-o-matics, Replicators, Citadel Mendel, E-maker huxley, plus more.
Be sure not to miss it.

Vancouver + 3D printer village = Heaven!
It's been >95F here in New Jersey the past few days. A dose of the northwest sounds excellent right now...
Has anyone digitized the totem poles or any of the art up in Stanley Park? That would be truly awesome.

Someone at the last meeting mentioned using a hand held 3D scanner to scan the Totem poles and a few other pieces of history around here. But I don't think it has been done yet.

Maker Faire Vancouver was great and we had an amazing turn out at the 3D printer Village.
We had 17 printers and they ranged from Wades old Darwin to the newest printers available in the opensource 3D printer world Tantillus and Ditto.
