can somone slice this in half for me?

hi all,

i've been printing all the parts for this:

[www.thingiverse.com]

however i need to get the two leg pieces stl files split in half length ways to make them more printable, could some kind soul with the correct software to do it slice it up for me?,

i've tried it in openscad but it's not that great at importing stl files,

it's in google sketchup format (.skp)

importing anything from STL hardly ever works.

Download the free version of Netfabb Studio Basic [netfabb.com]
This can fix STLs, and can cut parts into smaller pieces too.

I import stl files into openscad and it has always worked as long as the stl file is good.

thats half the problem the stl file isn't great to begin with
