Hi All,

First, i am new to 3D print and need to learn a lot.
But at my defence i learn quite fast.

Second, my english is not that good.. (Quebec Canada is French)

Ok.. I was shoping and browsing around to find a 3D printer.
found lot of good design and informations.

But i found that project:
[reprap.org]

That's very interesting and i would like to build a similar but smaller printer.
I have a 3'x3' cnc router and can cut many parts on it.

Would like a simple design and easy to make parts.

Looking to use these ball end HERE
They are 3mm thread so i would just buy 3mm threaded rod also.

Here a quick drawing of what i was thinking as a center plate

I was thinking using THK Rails on 3 corners that would be of 8020 extrusions.

Any idea and of course HELP would be greatly apreciated since again.. i am new and need to learn a lot on software hardware etc..

I have a Arduino Mega 1280 laying around (i use it on robotics and Multicopter project)

Also.. i can cut the same parts i will do for me to anyone who which to jump in the project.. winking smiley

Those balls have probaly a too small angle,
but there are others from Traxx that work very well (slightly different layout)

All the interesting rostock discussion is happening over at googe groups thought [groups.google.com]
