Stepper Driver Pot Loose

Hi
Please could you give me some advise , the Stepper Driver POT on my Sanguinlololu is very loose. If I touch the POT with a screw driver, I am able to turn it 360 without it having a end or beginning.( I was very gentle with it as I know too much force can damage it)
The Stepper driver is for my Greg;s Hinged Extruder motor and I need to turn current up to get my motor moving.

I would appreciate your help on this, thanks.

Some pots do have an 'endless" turning circle

if it's mechanically wrecked, you can desolder it and replace with a bigger/better pot of the same resistance connected with wires to the pins ... made such 'optimisations' with 3-turn-pots and hot-glue
