Ridges in Walls

Ridges in Walls

I can't seem to get rid of the ridges in walls of my prints. The ridges show up on a very regular basis. I've tried everything I can think of to fix the problem. Extra Shells, printing faster, printing slower, increasing and decreasing the flow on the perimeter. Increasing and decreasing the temperature. Adjusting lash, infill overlap.

Nothing seems to make much difference.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hello,

Thats caused by the threaded z rods. What the printer you are using?

That makes a lot of since. I built an Adapto. So I need to work on controlling the Z wobble. I put something at the top of the threaded rod to try to control the wobble. Guess I need to work on that.

look into reducing z wobble, make sure carriage is a tight fit for bushings, and that little place exists in extruder.

also reduce flow rate slightly. the ridges are fine detail, and may be bleeding out of the nipple region of the nozzle.
