They are also on ebay. Shipping to Europe is fast with really nice packaging better than what I have seen from some European vendors. In fact, some local webshops seem to get their supplies from these guys (or their suppliers), judging from the parts.
I wouldn't say that they are shady at all.

Interesting that the Prusa Nozzle is also available in 0.6mm. Not often that I see this diameter. Any reason behind this? "Moar speed"?

I find it kind of funny Prusa sends these hotends to China, just to have them sending them back to Europe.

or those are made in china

nothing new, i have buyed unbranded arduino 2560r3 from china for 20 usd, and when i opened package it waz fully branded arduino board made in italy, sam thing with ramps, have ordered unbranded board for few usd, and it has arrived fully branded.

about nozzle, it is simple. yes, its made from stainless, not the best material for nozzle, but its from only 2 pieces...
and its 15 euros cheaper then nozzle in link above, that's price of heated bed..
ofcourse,when he releases plans i will try to make it myself on lathe....

i didnt say its the best, just that i like its simplicity.

I dont favourise that kid, just that nozzle looks good.

Hello guys, yes it is funny, but I am not able to ship enough myself now. And RepRapDiscount was very helpful with sourcing of some parts for my workshop so I shipped it to them first. They support even other developers.

They are one of my best suppliers, together with RepRapSource, Ultimachine, XYZ printers, SeeMeCNC, ...

Nozzles are light and shipping to China is super cheap ;-) Todays world is kinda strange I know!

Guys enjoy them, and look forward to more distributors!

@Traumflug: An order from hp_ shipped from Taiwan to Spain costed $6, same order shipped from Belgium costed 35€, ouch! (I only mention shipping costs here).

I can understand how one might want to ship to China for goods to be shipped back to Europe.

Is the heater block supposed to be all the way up there or can you shift it down towards the nozzle orifice a little bit? I wonder how this affects performance...
Also, if one was to crash the nozzle into the HBP, stainless steel would theoretically be more resistant to damage than brass, so although the monolithic design first seems like a disadvantage in this case, maybe it in fact is an advantage? Has anyone actually fouled their nozzles by crashing?

whats good about it is, there will be no edges for the plastic to catch, however it will need a fan to blow on the top to keep the filament from expanding and getting stuck.

Well, not too concerned about having the fan on it. I only print in ABS, so not entirely sure that I need a fan at all. //EDIT: According to Prusa, no fan needed for ABS.

All the videos I've seen have the heater block at the top of the nozzle, not the bottom. I guess you could play with it though. Also seems like this nozzle needs to run hot, really hot.

Since other all-metal hot ends also require a fan to cool their body, I don't see this as a problem. The smooth filament path sure sounds like a great advantage and the small, slender body (minus the mounting plate) might be useful for multi-extruder set-ups.

@akhlut: The link you posted doesn't seem to be working...
By the way: What do you mean with "the hot end needs to run really hot"? Isn't the temperature dependant on the plastic?

Hi guys, I am happy you are excited about it :-) Please share as many experience as you can, I am dying to know :-) I have been working on this thing for over a year :-)

How do you like the package? Do you think I should include something more?
How quickly were you able to mount it? What mount should I include?
Share your printing temps for materials you have. With these SS nozzles you need to run hotter at higher speeds.

Melt zone is REALLY short and sharp. I can basically run ABS without retract, do you have same experience?

BTW they are really made in czech, only things I cant make here are fans, cartridges and thermistors.

Packaging was good. Everything I needed to get it mounted. I drilled out the mounting holes to 4.5mm to fit Kuehlings extruder. Other than that mounting it has been smooth sailing.

But now having a really difficult time autotuning it. I've dialed the PID_MAX down to 16 and its still going overtemp and failing to tune. Running on 24V. Now trying PID_MAX 8. This cartridge is a beast.
