3D Printing Metal Processes

Hello everyone,
Has anyone had any experience with the different types of 3D additive printing processes for metal?
I believe these are the most popular methods:
Selective laser melting (SLM)
Direct metal laser sintering (DMLS)
Selective laser sintering (SLS)
Fused deposition modeling (FDM)
Electron-beam melting (EBM)
Laser Metal Deposition (LMD)
What are the general advantages/Disadvantages (Finish / Types of metals) of these additive processes?
Do you recommend any of them?
Thanks

Printing with metal is still a bit beyond the hobbyist level. People are working on it, however:
