Beta is a property of the thermistor, see its data sheet. On most RepRap electronics, R1 = 4700 (4k7) and R2 = 0.

PT100 is an RTD, not a thermistor. It won't work with Reprap electronics.

All the data I could find was wondering that table / chart.

Without beta is there another way to generate the required table?

Any help much appreciated

Nophead : can you please expand on that. (not arguing. Just. Asking ) I was under the impression that with a revised temp lookup table it would work? Is a software or hardware issue?

PTC vs NTC is in the name.

Positive and Negative Temperature Coefficient.

They work in a different way and I think RTD (Resistance Temperature Detectors) is a PTC and not an NTC.
