Mendel-Parts aka Orcabot aquired

Just got a newsletter that camiel sold his Company Mendel-Parts/Ocrabot to prodim.

Some people may know the great Orca v0.4x series and its capability of printing very high quality results, netherless i don`t think that i have to talk alot about the "dark" side aka the struggling delivery/support/forum/ contact and so on....

So lets see what this new "relationship" will make out of one of the former pionieers of reprap scene ..

Are there two heater cartridges in their hot end, or a very large thermocouple.
If they are using a thermocouple how are they integrating it.
They are using a GEN6 Deluxe board, and in the description it mentions only thermistors.

afaik it is still a normal 100k thermistor. the second one is the thermistor just in a very robust package.
Instead of the (very old) gen6 deluxe i would use a ramps or something else thats faster and can drive 1/16 Steppers.
