Does Bowden provide sufficient control for good prints?

Does Bowden provide sufficient control for good prints?

My hunch is yes, if you look at what comes out of the berrybot, although that is a super human bit of fine engineering.

For people using Bowden, do you experience issues because of it? Any photos and or advice gratefully received

The more flexible the filament the less suitable it is, so things like Ninjaflex should be avoided. More retraction is needed with a Bowden so the print time is also increased trivially. Other than those, a Bowden setup can be pretty close to perfection.

Excellent, I'll make the transition this evening then. I've been putting it off and off for no good reason.

I got surprisingly good results with 1.75mm Ninjaflex and a 40cm Bowden setup. Stringing is an issue though.
