Sanguinololu connectors and wires

hi guys

just had my heated bed conenctor melt (Sanguinololu end) .

can some one tell me what im looking for for replacement crimp connectors and also replacement hoods (farnell codes would be amazing !)

also on the wire side

i know that the hotend and heated bed connectors have double pins as the connectors on the Sanguinololu cannot take that much current on the 1 pin.

am i right in thinking i can use half the power cables but by using 2 im okay ?
for example heatbed advised 20A + (i checked whole machine pulls around 27A at peak)
so i would be okay to use say 11A cable but 2 of them to cover the load? (when i say 2 i mean 2 postive and 2 ground)

also any ideas on what wire thickness i should be getting? as its a bit blurry when you get to 19/1 and 20awg nothing covers ampage which i know changes over distance ect

but lets just say 1M run from prusa to electronics what wire thickness should i get for hotend and also bed? (does not cound for heat protection as i use a dsub from hotend which uses telon coated wire)

20A on the heated bed connector is far too much. Even 10A is dubious.

ahh just re read the wiki thats total draw on the PSU 20A+ when using a heat bed

what AWG wire are people using then for heated bed and also the hot end?

for motors i plan on just using 4 core alarm cable and

end stops/sensors just as thin as possible

I have just orderd 18 AWG for the heat bed, overkill at 18A rating (PPE). 24 AWG for the hot end also overkill at 6A (PTFE). The

think i might go 20awg all round then same as computer power supply cable.

problem iv found is

every header i find is only rated at 4A and crimp connector at 3A

think im gonna get my ameter on them weekend see how much it draws for the hotend and heated bed
