Arduino and osx

Hi all!

I have a thread in another place.
But I might get more response here. So sorry if someone gets upset posting in general forum.

First of all. Im a noob when it comes to Arduino.
I have installed Arduino IDE, a ch340 driver. But IDE can not find the board.
Bord is powered up. tried rebooting etc.
Was going to update the original Anet A8 firmware to skynet.
But now, I'm on a mission to just gett it connected.
Read Arduino faq. But not getting anywhere.. While trying different settings in IDE. I by mistake
clicked on bluetooth connection. Ofcoarse its not correct. But I can not get it "un set"

Any help is greatly appreciated!

p.s did read in Arduino faq that OS X does not need a special port driver.
But there exists drivers.. hmm

Ah the curse of the CH340, I haven't been able to get it working at all and had to dig out my old windows laptop for CH340 devices.

I've had no issues talking to many different CH340 devices on OSX.

It is because alot of us have the unsigned driver.

Sigh... I pointed out that driver back on feb 11th!!! Greywolf, you even commented on it.... Something fishy here...
