I'm putting together a Sintron Ultimate 3d kit...things are going okay....

the customer service rep at Sintron wants we to test each of the stepper motors one at a time...how would I do that.????

There is a Ramps-test software you could use ( sorry, don't have the link at hand ), but be aware that the current firmware on the Mega will be overwritten.
You can also use a serial PC-USB connection and send individual move commands via Pronterface or Repetier-host. That's only useful if you know GCode

I was hoping for amuch simpler solution...inject some voltage into the stepper motor plug...to see if it actually works...

Why doesn't the customer service rep provide instructions for the test ? He supposedly know that machine better than most of us around here.

Most of my technical comments should be correct, but is THIS one ?
Anyway, as a rule of thumb, always double check what people write.
