Driver MKS TB6600, 4 microswitch usage?
January 21, 2018 12:01PM
Hi, I just finished my printer, the bed size is 500x600
so it use NEMA 23 motors and TB6600 drivers.

[reprap.org]

I know how to configure the microstep using the microswitchs,
but there is not information about the 4 switch.

Can anyone give me some advice about it?

Greetings

If I had to guess, I'd say it's for enabling/disabling the auto idle-current reduction?

It may have some effect in printing quality?
Which position (On/Off) is recomended?

In your case I'd switch it to OFF for XY axis, but leave it ON=100% TQ [torque] for Z.
