What options are there? Do the owning companies have extra rights to your code?
Thingverse. Owned by makerbot.
Slack. Think this is independent from the major players but proprietary.
Github. Could be about to be owned by MS.
Source Forge. Owned by various companies and had engaged in some dubious tactics bundling unwanted software with downloads.
