Medium Size CoreXY Build & Enclosures

Hello all, this is my first post on here. I'm looking to build a corexy printer with a enclosure or possibly panels bolted to the outside. Any ideas for a build that would be good for printing with carbon fiber, nylon, etc.?

Thanks

You may try Piper 2 version 2 enclosed: [www.thingiverse.com].

Has a piper 2 been made before? Renders look incomplete with no motors, transmission, electronics, bed or any noticeable way of attaching panels.

Best there is at the moment is probably Dbot or railcore. I'm very impressed by the railcore these days, but the Dbot is easily half the price if you are willing to accept the compromises.

For a start, how about looking in the right place ? In the Corexy thread ?

Challenge: Find the only one that is mechanically sound, properly built and therefore working well. Understand why then you are ready to go ahead, scale it down eventually smiling smiley

I have 3 Piper 2 version 1 built (not enclosed) 250x250x300 (was shown at ERRF 2018), 300x300x300 (dual head), and 600x450x400 (was shown at Worlds Maker Fair 2018).
I am in the process of making Piper 2 version 2 myself so no complete pictures yet.
The mechanical portion of version 2 is not different from version 1. And if you speak about price - Piper 2 is your lowest bet.
