I bought some TMC2208 to upgrade and old i3 clone thta has been collecting dust.
Some motors needed replacing so I bought a complete set of new Nem17 motors. The motors are rated 1.7A. I now know that TMC2208 stepsticks will only handle 1.2A maximum. So I am having a silver/brain fog moment. What do I set the stesticks Vref to? Do I just ramp them up to teir max Vref -10% or what?
Note to self. Do some research before jumping on Amazon.
