But we need people to start spreading the crowdfunding campaign, and get some initial momentum going :

Crowdfunding was always going to be a stretch, since non-profits often don't do well, *and* the Uplift Prize may not be understood by many.
But we need volunteer help in getting more donors. Anyone with prior crowdfunding experience in particular.
A prize like this can speed up RepRap innovation while greatly expanding awareness and participation. But it can only succeed with more help from those who are passionate about RepRap.
Since this is a non-profit prize, run entirely by volunteers, no one other than the Prize recipient makes any money in any form. But the best way to do philanthropy
is to do what you do best. So we really need volunteers to bring their various talents.
