HELP! Ramps 1.4 No Power to LCD off of Power Supply

Ramps 1.4 No Power to LCD off of Power Supply:
I am just diving into 3d printing after many years of interest. My Ramps board LED lights up off of power supply but will not supply power to the LCD screen for my 3d printer. When I hook up the USB cable into the Arduino Mega the LCD screen powers no problem. Where should I start to diagnose what is going on? Or am I better off to order another board and try again?

Start by checking the voltage regulator, most likely it is dead. The voltage regulator takes the 12v and creates a 5 volt supply for Arduino.
