Response with large delay from ANET3D V1-5

Pronterface communicates with my ANET3D V1-5 sofar smoothly. I made a try to send the commands like M105, G0 to the board thru a terminal program (TerminAll, ScriptCommunicator). However commands have to be sent multiple times before a response returns to my laptop. The sent commands seem the same. Why do the ones thru terminal program work so sluggishly? What could be the reason?

I've found the reason: CR should be added to each command before sending them.

I would never have guessed that.

Be aware that quite a lot of old school user interfaces have the same quirk, no enter key, no input.
