hello all.

i thought I'd share this with you all.

I've just been listening to a very interesting segment regarding the development of conductive plastics, which can, for example be used to manufacture plastic LED's, diodes, and circuits.

clearly, this is still a way off yet for RepRap, but it does exist on all our horizons.

podcast is here: (on my itunes, hope it works for you)

interestingly, this technology could also produce cheap photovoltaic cells.

Imagine.

regards and thanks to all putting effort into the project.

thank you for the correct links people.

sorry, i just copied the podcast link from my itunes.

a little update on the usefulness of this technology is that it turns out that solar powered white LED lighting is apparently becoming THE killer ap in the third world.

it can save up to a months wages in 12 months for some in contrast to fuel for a kerosene stove.

anyway, thanks again.
