And I thought we were all about diversification! - the G+ 3D printing group now has 9295 members today and counting... (And no, they are not all 'robots')

People don't have to move, just take more in, if you can.

Unfortunately my brain can't cope with the stream-of-conciousness twitter/facebook type stuff. Seems to be designed for ephemeral interchanges, like a souped up IRC.

Freescale moved their support to a facebook type site, god it sucks.

Probably, it means I am just getting old winking smiley

Diversification of printer designs maybe, not diversification of the community. The problem of a community sputtered all over the place is, people can't find each other. And people also can't participate in 20+ community-wannabes.

... it's even hard to follow/contribute 'only' 5 communities when doing a little bit more than only scan through the new posts eye rolling smiley

So many of the posts on this forum come from people picking up things found on other communities and site feeds, so it works both ways. I see community interaction in the same way as 3D printer development, it's survival of the fittest for both the designs and methods of discussing, sharing and archiving.

The more we know, the more we grow.
