Anyone care to guess what kind of motors are in this?

Really fast ones?

... such speeds are normally achieved with high dynamic servo motors --- but I have some stepper drivers and 3-phase-motors from precitec (Berger&Lahr), that have 2Nm torque, resolution of 10000 steps per rev. and up to 200kHz stepping rate.

Have other drivers from IMS too that can run 'normal' 1.8deg-steppers with up to 51200 steps per rev. and 10MHz stepping rate, but until now didn't find a controller, that can output this speeds ...

... this could be tricky -- I'll estimate pressures in the range of some hundreds to thousand bar and methodes to change the pressure accordingly to 'spit' the material out with similar speeds spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

But for ink-jetting or laser processing this is in the common speed ranges ...

They sound like steppers....you can hear the whine sometimes.

for that type that is amazingly fast, but man you gotta see some of the delta pick and place robots, those are just insane too.
