Im currently in the process of constructing a dual bowden extruder, to allow for soluble support material.

One thing im really worried about is how to wipe the nozzle upon switching heads. I have a prusa Mendel V2.

Any one have any ideas or experience with this?

Kisslicer has a prime pillar function that prints a cylinder off to one side/corner between heads to make sure the head is primed.

you could have a brass brush on one of the x idlers, and have it just run over it to get rid of any extra filament

In the extruder change gcode section you code add code to print a square in some spot on the bed.
