RepRapPro Mendel fan strange behaviour

Finished all the assembly and wiring. When I was about to start the sugested tests to be done before powering, the fan acts bizarre.

Is this normal or have I done something wrong on the wiring?

Hi

This happens on my Reprappro Mendel too. I assume as you move the carriage you are driving the motors. They act like generators. The fan is always in the circuit so the LED lights up.

Yap ... it should be that ... I discovered that she lights also when I move the heat bed ,,, smiling smiley
