I have completed my build and am now trying to get the steppers moving. I have a MendelMax 1.5. I have instaled the LCD controller and I can move the steppers around using that, But when I hook to the USB, bring up Repetier, and connect, I can not manually move the steppers. If I loan an STL file in the software and tell the machine to run, I can see the GCODE running, but still no stepper action. It seems as though the computer is not commnicating with the printer. If I se the port to COM3, not even the gcode will show running on the screen, I have to set it to virtual printer. I have downloaded the Arduino drivers for windows, still nothing.
Help Please!!!
