Tutorial, books

Have no problem with hardware side of 3D printers but I have little knowledge of the electronic and software side.

Are there tutorials, books etc that explain and teach this side of the printer?

I think everything can be found in the Wiki, and just look for 'reprap assembly' and you will find much through google.

Prusa has a book coming out this summer but I don't know what it has on the software tool chain. As the others have posted, this is the place to find out. The software tool chain is specific to the packages you use in your build. I'd start by getting to know the Arduino microprocessor platform. User Traumflug is a core developer on the Teacup firmware and Gen 7 electronics. Lot's of good nuggets of info in his posts.

Use the Wiki. Start here [reprap.org] and here [reprap.org] . Those two pages should get you pointed in the right direction.

Brian Evans has a pretty good book available from Amazon. I read it through a couple times when I was getting started.

Don't hold your breath. This book has been "a month or two away" for over a year now.
