Is this a printer error or software/slicing error??

In the attached images you can see that when I print a round object, it always steps out at a set point. It does this every time on round objects and I can't work it out.

You can also see in one of the images, the infill never meets the wall of the object in a set place. I printed 3 of the same object and it happened in the same place every time.

I'm using Slic3r on a RepRapPro, could it be down to Slic3r? Or down to the printer?

Any help would be great.

Check your belts and your X & Y stepper motor gears.
Make sure that the gear is firmly attached to the stepper motor (best with a flat and a set screw).
Make sure that the belts are tight enough BUT NOT TOO TIGHT.

I checked all the belts and gears but it still cannot print round. I'm using the Slic3r version from RepRapPro.

I had a similar problem and figured it was from too hot filament flow problem. I cut the temp and problem went away next try same item. I also cut speed back too at the same time.

Flow rate needs to be recalculated. My guess is higher flow rate. What are your infill speeds?

can you show the bottom of the part?

Thanks for the advice, I'll try changing some settings and see where I am then.

You can view the gcode in any number of viewers. I use Repetier.

Or just drag the file into this web page:
