Does anyone know what the deal is with this? It looks like a good attempt. Not sure how well it would work, how heavy it would be, and how hot it can get (PC compatible?)

My biggest concern would be where do you get replacement parts from? It's coming from China.

Odd they don't ship to China, Germany, UK and Italy. I can't think why that would be.

Says 411 grams.

It looks like steel. Wouldn't you want aluminum?

Wonder if it has any PTFE in it.

Exactly, thats what I thought too. And the QU-BD extruder is better, and cheaper.
I wouldn't buy the chinese one unless you have money to spend on experiments.

most things are somehow "derivated" from some other things...of course you call it "copy" or "knockoff" because i chinese is selling it

QU-BD team has been "inspired" by the Makerbot extruder, and so on, nothing wrong with this

I tested this extruder from that auction and it does not work!

You tested it and it doesn't work? Good, so here we have a reference, well, unregistered to the forum, but anyway.

Can you tell us why it doesn't work?
I am curious, the heating element looks like something I've never seen before. I can't imagine it working like a metal one.

Maybe they copied it too exactly?

I am kidding. I have a QU-BD printer on order.
