Find a laser cutting shop in your area and ask them to make a set. Shouldn't be any more expensive than buying ready-made parts and might even be cheaper - such shops mostly do one-off parts anyway (usually sheet metal and acrylic letters and shapes for ad signs) and have reasonable minimum orders, sometimes as low as $20.
