What is the best way that 2D photo convert to 3D modelling?

Hi,
I effort to find some ways that 2D photo convert to 3D modelling, it is not easy for me.

In my case, for converting, just 1 2D photo used.

So there are many ways. Using Adobe after effect, photoshop, and 3D Max etc...

But these ways are so complicated.

Please tell me the simple way to do above things.

Thanks

I'm going to go out on a limb and say:

There isn't one.

It's not an easy problem to solve, any algorithm that tries to do this would have many parameters to adjust to compensate for the differences in lighting etc between photos. Then there's the fact that one 2d photo simply *cannot* contain all the information to model the 3D object. There are always hidden faces and all an image analysis algorithmn could do is guess, badly, about the bits of the object it can't see.

All 3D scanners take multiple images of the object being scanned, it just has to be that way.

Cheers,
Robin.

Thanks for your brilliant answer.
But I don't use 3D scanner. Just use 1photo.
For example, attached photo, it is harf 3D modelling.

if it was so simple people would not waste time building 3d scanners!!!!
