Which 3D scanner to buy?

I'm looking for good, watertight scans with a high resolution and as much detail as I can get. Ease of use and software are also important for my choice.

Please explain to me why you would prefer one above the other..

I have my eye on these scanners at the moment.

... I have one of this pretty old dental-scanners and can get some more if someone is willing to pay 5k€ for the scanner, PC and software.

The scan-area is small, maybe 40x40x20mm, but the software adds several scans of the same part to a single object, so the overall scanning area is more like 100x100x20mm ... thinking about tweaking another of them with adjusting the optics and mechanics to a bigger turntable for e.g. 3x to 10x bigger scanning ranges ... and/or replacing the software for David Laserscanner and replacing the line-laser with a StructuredLight-beamer ...
