My Prusa Mendel has recently kicked up a new problem: A hideous grinding noise is coming from one of the Z axis motors when homing / moving very close to the heated bed. I can say with some certainty that the Z axis is not hitting anything, including the heated bed (I raised the endstop to be certain). No tangled wires getting caught either.

From the video, the z axis decends, hits the end stop (Pronterface confirms it has been hit) and the right hand motor stops, while the left hand motor continues to grind, causing the sound.
I was wondering if any one has any ideas what could cause this?
