The topic is old, but it came up again and I thought much about that lately. I have been working in a company were we made our plastic stuff by injection molding. We also recycled plastic for test purposes. So we had a hand-powered machine like a ice-crusher were we threw the bad ones in and got granule again, without any heating or so. So my idea would be to make a small machine which converts the granule into filament again, because I think filament is much easier to handle for us. This machine could be something like an extruder.
