Controller question

Hi,

I am at the point where I am buying parts for an Prusa i3 build and I would like to have the option of having an additional extruder. My question is will a RAMPS shield handle the additional stepper motor for the second extruder. If it cannot do you have any recommendations for electronics that will handle that plus an LCD display. Thanks to all that respond.
