Mendel Thick Sheet SVG?

Does anyone know where I can get a Ponoko-ready SVG of the laser cut thick sheet for Mendel? They don't accept DXF files unless you have a pro account, which costs ~$40.

... maybe you can convert them from DXF to SVG with Inkscape?

I tried, but Ponoko requires that all lines for cutting be colored blue; I don't know how to change line colors in Inkscape.

Hi Adam,

i have installed in german, so my functions are named different, but you should find the colouring menue either when selecting the objects, clicking the right mousebutton (context-menue), select something like "filling and contour" (fourth selection from bottom) and then the middle tab named like "colour of the contourline" or such. Then draw the blue slider to the right or type 255 as value.

Or in the main menue, tab "Objects" the first selection "filling and contour" ... then the same as above ...

When performing the above it just doesn't work.

It shows the contour as being blue but displays as back.
If you FILL with Blue then part of the outline is blue and part is black.

How do I color the contour blue?

I managed to put the SVG in order by hand editing the SVG (XML) file.
Now everything appears to be correct but Ponoko.com still won't accept the file.
Have sent it to them and asked what is wrong with it.

Has anyone ordered the thick sheet for Mendel from Ponoko?
And if so, how much does it cost?
