Does anyone know about how many cubic inches/centimeters of filament is in a 1kg spool of filament? Thanks

V = πr²h

Well...

That would be a really nice equation, and even a helpful for the asker... If you could present how long is the filament in a 1kg spool...

pla is 1.25 g/cm^3 so 1kg of filament is 800cm^3 approximately

PLA
Density: 1.210-1.430 g·cm-3
Mass: 1 kg

Density (kg/m3) = Mass (kg) / Volume (m3)
V = Mass (kg) /Density (kg/m3)

1.430 gram/centimeter³ = 1430 kilogram/meter³

V = 1 kg / 1430 kilogram/meter³
V = .0006993007 meter³

0.0007 meter³ = 42.7 inch³
42.7 inch³ = ~3.5 inch long per side of a cube.
42.7 inch³ = 700 centimeter³
