Hi all,
Just wanna thank every one writing and contributing in this forum as it helped me a lot to understand the reprap and 3d printing.

My question is, I'm building my first 3D printer from makerfarm (prusa i3 8") and it's not coming with kapton tape and didn't find it any where so far!

But, I found this [www.mocap.com]

it's a silicone tape high resistance to high temperature up to 260C.

Can I use it to isolate the extruder and the heatbed cables?
any experience with any of you?

Thanks

I use it to insulate the hotend and to keep the thermistor and heater element inside the heater block. I am printing at 260 degrees C and thus far no problems.
