Worthy to modify to this?

I now have a Mendel i2 (fixing in progress, but will be functional). I noticed a good-looking variation of Mendel called Ronthomp Mendel. (Don't want this thread to seem like an ad so plz google), and had a impulse to modify my machine to that one. Seems like I don't need to buy any other mayor parts. But IMHO, that construction doesn't appear to be sturdy to me. I think I should only expect even poorer print quality from this one after seeing its design closely. Still, it is a very good try to make printers in the market more reprap. Printers sold barely uses printed parts now.

What do you guys think?

I think it is good for 2 reasons. 1) more parts are printed, and 2) the angles of the parts and lengths are preset, meaning that it snaps together requiring very little alignment, that is of course assuming no warping

I think it's NOT good (in terms of 'reprap philosophy'), the philosophy of reprap was to use vitamins and combine them with printed parts, and not completely replace the vitamins with printed parts. This is very inefficient and material use and energy cost will be much higher.

Besides that I do like the idea, and with the corner connectors on both of the top connections being a corner, it looks as if it can be rigid. But I wouldn't trust it to be more rigid than an i2.
