Hi how can I get 100 micron or 50 micron printings? What am I supposed to use? I'm building a custom 3d printer and I want to use best extrusion system. I'm gonna use 1.75 mm ABS filament with which nozzle and extruder system? Can I get 100 micron with MK7 or what do you suggest? Thanks.

Time to get reading, bucko. You can't possibly get a straight answer to that question as there are just too many possibilities. Many printers (if not most) will get to 100 micron resolution if they're tuned well. Note that it takes more than just the extruder to get that good, your while machine has to be dialed in.

I would suggest you do a lot of reading. Take the initiative and learn. We can't learn it for you.

likely you will want 0.4mm nozzle, a well tuned printer, and an excellent positioning system, sturdy build with little play and slop.

For good detail you'll want to go smaller than a 0.4mm nozzle. 0.2mm works well for me at 50 microns, but the first layer is awfully tricky. And you should print slow, maybe 20mm/sec, or less.

Trial and error, my friends, trial and error.
