Hello,

I am new to 3d printing and I have recently ordered from ebay the parts to build the prusa i3.Today,the ramps 1.4 circuit board arrived.It was soldered by the seller but there was an unsoldered n4004gp diode in the package.What is the purpose of this diode and why it is not soldered?

You are welcome. If you wanted the same answer even earlier, googling 'reprap ramps diode' would have beat me by almost three hours.
