Putting Reinforcement Fibers Into FDM/FFF

Apparently, Boeing and Lotus Engineering have announced their approach to effective fiber reinforcement through 3D printing:

It has to do with mixing smaller-sized fibers with longer ones, which allows reinforcement between layers along their ortho-normal axis.

So their SLA innovation was mixing their scrap carbon fiber with the nylon powder.

Proto-pasta is clearly in violation of Boeing and Lotus patent. Soon they will they get the letter....
