EUROMOLD 2014 Fair - First report from hall 11

Just for those who could not attend this (amazing) show in Frankfurt (25.11 -28.11). I have compiled +30 photos and a few bits of info for you.
It is written in german, but there is very few text, instead have a look at the pictures or use google translate.
Featured printer/products: Metal direct printing ( SLM=Selective Laser Melting), DLP, Bodyscan, Low cost fully cased printers with integrated 3D scan aso.

A second report will follow with more FDM stuff.

I'm unsure of how it's driven, possibly a magnetic linear drive, or a rack?

... no, this are the measuring rods - there is a metallic tape end-fixed to this rods with some sort of encoding signal ... don't know if magnetic or optical ...
