Firmware upload problem please help.

We are attempting to upload the reprap firmware to the extruder controller using the adruino program. However, we keep getting the same error.

avrdude: stk500_getsync() : not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_disable() : expect=0x14, resp=0x51

We walked through some of the recommended troubleshooting measures from the arduino's website, but we are still having the same issue.

We have it set to compile code for the diecimila.

If it is important, we are using the techzone remix boards.

Sorry to trouble you all, but neither of us know the proper way to do this.

You may need to burn a bootloader first, since this is the same error I got before adding the bootloader.

Is the board getting power? Remeber, the cable gets put on opposite the way it does on the motherboard. Are you pressing the reset button after you click upload? That's the error you get when your timing is off.
