bed heater stays on

Hi all ,I have a problem that my heated bed stays on when print is finished.
am I missing something in marlin v1
using rumba board

sorry forgot to mention that I use a separate power supply and a solid state relay

It sounds like the bed's transistor is broken on your board. I don't know the Rumba, but on the Ramps, a led is always on, even if the bed is meant to be off. That means the transistor stays fully open.

aint there a command that's needed at the end of the g code to shut the bed off. I use a ramp and that never turns off until I tell it too

In the slice program there is an option to add G codes to start and end of print, in the end of print you need to add

M140 S0

Usual practice is to use M0 or M1 in the end gcode, which in most firmwares turns all the heaters off.
