CAL extruder stepper motor type

hello. i man calibrating my sunhokey prusa i3 etruder. and wonder what type of stepper motor this is?



could some one help me with the math?

i measured out 150mm and extruded 100mm. (G1 E100 F90 at temp 215C)
the fillment has was left is 74. 150-74=76mm extruded filament-.

in the display in the purse i3. i have
Amax E: 10000
Esteps/mm: +0080.5

The stepper doesnt determine the extrusion length. If you need to calibrate google "triffid hunter calibration guide".

Divide 80.5 (step/mm) by 76 (distance extruded)

Multiply result by 100 (distance required)

So Esteps/mm wants to be 106. or 105.92. Try that number and repeat to double check/ fine tune

It is easier and quicker to do this calibration without the hotend attached and just wind out the filament into free air.
