max temp error

Hi All
after having not printed with abs for a while
decided to print a spiral vase.
after about randomly 10 min to 60 min into print I get max temp error .
extruder sits at 235 stable then swings up to the 280 mark and print stops.
changed model and still the same prob.
using simplify 3d
change to slicer and pronterface no difference

Hi,

have you search your G-code for any temperature increase? If not, try to search for any M109 S280 or M104 S280 in you G-code.
if none appears it will probably be a Marlin/hardware error.

Its funny been printing same model in pla and its perfect not a problem for 13 hours
