What kind of tape should I cover my heater block in the extruder ?

Currently, I'm a little confused about Ceramic tape and Kapton tape, I'm not sure if they are the same thing. Would it be okay if I use either one of them for covering my heater block ? and what happen if I don't cover my heater block with any tapes at all.

Thanks

I read here that teflon tape is working well.

AFAIK Kapton tape is the one you need to use, you also need some glass mat material for thermal insulation like this:

Ceramic tape is a type of insulation. Kapton is just a thin film, like Scotch tape. Don't use Teflon/PTFE tape, since it isn't usually sticky and tends to decompose at high temperature.
